Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026. This policy covers RacquetLog and explains what we store, why, and who else touches it.
What we collect
Your account. When you sign up we store your email address and a securely hashed password. We never see or store your password in readable form.
What you enter. The records you create in the app: client names and any phone number, contact method, or notes you add; racquet labels; job details such as date, string, tension, price charged, and expenses; and your string and overgrip inventory.
Billing details. If you upgrade to Pro, Stripe processes the payment. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan status, and the date your current period ends.
On your device. The app keeps a local copy of your records in your browser so it stays usable offline, and remembers small display preferences such as which alerts you have dismissed and whether your dashboard is showing this month or all time. That data stays on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser storage.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your clients' details with third parties for their own purposes. We do not run advertising. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not set advertising cookies. The only cookies in play are the ones Supabase uses to keep you signed in.
How we use your data
To run the product: authenticating you, storing and syncing your records across your devices, calculating your dashboard totals and restring reminders, enforcing the limits of your plan, and processing your subscription. We also use your email address to send account messages such as email confirmation and password resets. We do not send marketing email.
Who processes your data
We rely on three service providers, each handling only what their function requires: Supabase for the database and authentication, Stripe for subscription payments, and Vercel for application hosting and delivery. Each is bound by its own agreements and privacy commitments.
Your clients' information
Records you keep about your clients are yours, and you decide what goes in them. You are responsible for having a reasonable basis to store a client's contact details and for honoring any request they make to you about that information. You can edit or delete any client, racquet, or job from inside the app at any time, and deleting a client removes their jobs and racquets along with them.
Our advice: keep notes to what you actually need for stringing. There is no reason to record anything sensitive in a job log.
Security
All traffic runs over HTTPS. Every table is protected by row-level security rules that scope records to the account that owns them, so one stringer cannot read another's clients, jobs, or inventory. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. No system is perfect, but we hold the data to the minimum we need to run the product.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your records for as long as your account is open, because they are the product. You can delete individual clients, jobs, and inventory items yourself whenever you like. Pro accounts can export the full job history to Excel before deleting anything.
To delete your account and everything in it, email racquetlog@gmail.com from your account address. We will remove your data within 30 days, aside from billing records Stripe is required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is processed. Email us at the address above and we will help. You will never be charged or have your account restricted for making a privacy request.
Children
RacquetLog is a tool for running a stringing business and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be announced by email to account holders.
